I'm thinking of submitting these two

for camera club on Wednesday?

Together with two photo's of the neighbours girls and the sepia one of Ethan with his goggles on.

That leaves me one short....hmmmm I'm going to have to see what else I can take a photo of either later today or tomorrow afternoon so I'll keep you updated :)

A few of Ethan today

It was a lovely hot day in Jhb again so Ethan played soccer outside with his dad and he swam at least 3 times in the new blow up pool. Donovan and I got in too just as he finished filling it up and brrrrrrrrrrr it was COLD but absolutely devine! This is the second time this week his filled it up and the reason being - he put it on a slope on Thursday night and we had quite a storm on Friday afternoon which made the pool go wonky so we had to move it onto the stoep and it's much better. It's now flat and easy to access :)

I was messing around today

I put this orange daisy on the side of the blow up pool this morning....what do you think? I'm not sure if I love them or hate them. Donovan says they are cool but I'm not 100 % sure. I have to submit six images for camera club next Wednesday so maybe I should see how one of these goes down with the judges?

The girls next door

Here are a few photo's of the girls next door. They were playing outside this afternoon and Ethan went to join them with his new soccer ball that I bought him from Game today. They played soccer and remote cars for about 30 minutes and then decided to head to our house so Ethan could show them how to play Finding Nemo on his pc. I heard their father calling them and I asked him to give them another 10 minutes so I could take some pics of them....I need at least 6 entries for camera club this month and it's already the 6th and I have nothing. So think at least once of these are good enough to submit, what do you think?

My favourite thing in the whole world

Ethan keeps asking me what it is?

I keep tell him that he is BUT he keeps telling me it should be Jesus. He is such a sweet child - I love him to bits!!!

Yesterday I went and bought him a *new* slip and slide because the dog ate his one last year. I set it up for him this afternoon and he had so much fun. Here are a few pics of him when he wasn't running around shrieking because the water was cold. He also doesn't like to pose anymore so these two photo's were chosen out of 30 or so because he just doesn't look at the camera anymore....

I tried something new today

I took photo's of a clover on our bedroom mirror (I took it down and placed it on the trampoline outside so I could use natural lighting). The fourth photo I took a syringe and placed two drops of water on the mirror - if you look closely you can see a bit of our house in the reflection.

The last photo I just placed a drop of water on the fern next to the trampoline and zoomed in and took a photo.

No 4 is my favourite and I think I might submit it to camera club this month :)

Oh yes, tomorrow I want to buy a guava or kiwi and try something similar.
